Blueprint Residency Program

The Blueprint Residency Program is an operational immersion experience for a single selected Blueprint Architect per annual cycle. It is distinct from the SGE Research Residency: where the Research Residency is a research collaboration producing an academic-standard published paper, the Blueprint Residency is a deployment immersion — a structured period during which the selected Architect works directly with the SGE CEO and research team on live deployment decisions, governance challenges, and the specific methodology application questions that arise in active Blueprint-standard operation.

The Blueprint Residency is not a mentorship programme, an advisory relationship, or a training course. It is an operational engagement — the selected Architect brings a live deployment portfolio or a specific governance challenge, and works through it directly with the SGE operational team. The output is not a publication. It is a materially improved governance architecture and a deployment position that the Architect has built with direct CEO engagement throughout the residency period.

One Residency Per Year

One Blueprint Residency is awarded per calendar year. The Residency period is three months. It is available to Blueprint Architects who have been active in the programme for a minimum of twelve months and who have a specific, active deployment context for the residency engagement. Applications are reviewed by the CEO personally.

What the Residency Involves

I

Weekly CEO Engagement

Weekly one-to-one sessions with U.P. Opuluozor throughout the three-month residency period — structured around the Architect's specific deployment and governance questions, with direct CEO input on IC decisions, counterparty assessments, capital allocation questions, and integrity challenges as they arise in real time.

II

Research Team Collaboration

Access to the SGE research team for methodology questions, research review, and the specific empirical and framework questions that arise in applying the Blueprint methodology to the Architect's live deployment context.

III

IC Documentation Review

A structured review of the Architect's existing IC documentation architecture — the CEO and research team review the Architect's decision records, challenge history, and governance process documentation, and provide direct feedback on the specific improvements that would advance the enterprise toward a more complete institutional architecture.

IV

Governance Architecture Assessment

A comprehensive assessment of the Architect's governance architecture against the Blueprint Standard — identifying specific gaps, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities in the IC design, information infrastructure, capital allocation framework, and integrity system.

How to Apply

Blueprint Architects who have been active in the programme for twelve months or more and who have a specific, live deployment context for the residency engagement may apply by submitting a residency application through the Blueprint Platform with the subject line "Residency Application — [Your Name] — [Year]". Applications should describe the specific deployment context and governance challenges you want to work through during the residency.
